linkfest

i'm a mess with out my little manimal by my side. so as i avoid being in touch with my feelings, please enjoy some random and possibly useless linkage:

yesterday i was searching for a noro-centric flickr group and couldn't find one, so i created one. go forth and join i made it with noro and give me some new ideas for the noro i've been hoarding.

filed under: things i can no longer buy because the vet bill is more than i make in a month

-i love camper shoes, they're my absolute favorite. i must have these. so cute! someday.

good things:

-i finally tried addi lace needles. so good. they've made a huge difference in the sl3ks and k3togs of my new upside down baltic socks. i need a few bigger ones. i feel a shawl coming on.

-i've been semi-obsessed with making a mitered square blanket after seeing cara's project. so gorgeous. buying all that yarn at once would be a little overwhelming right now, but i'm thinking if i could just buy a few colors every month, i could make this an on-going, in-between-projects kind of knit for the rest of the year. no?

thanks for all the feline love. if all goes well, he'll be back at home tomorrow evening. yay buddy!

Behind on my bloglines, but still sending more good kitty vibes your way! :)

I'm glad your kitty is coming along!

My favorite Noro Kureyon at the moment is Rosedale Cardi fron knitty issue Fall 2003. I saw this at Rhinebeck a year and a half ago and am proud that I refrained from ripping it off a woman's back. Love that ribbing!

By the way I'm the person who runs into you all the time in Webs warehouse.

Hope kitty feels better soon...

i've been collecting skeins of cotton classic for over a year now. whenever i see a color that i don't already have i buy a skein or two. (and yes, i carry around a list) i may be able to start soon.

Love the Noro group idea! I have some random skeins in the stash as well that I need to knit up, so I will contribute more :)

Oh, yeah -- big love for Campers and the Addi lace needles. Hope next time we hear from you, Buddy is home safe and sound! xo

I love the Noro group idea, too! I have a stash of Silk Garden in a colorway I love, but I have no idea what to do with it.

Hope kitty is doing better!
