wakefield scarf

new england knits was always planned as a 25 project book. but, in the end, we had 26. so, one little project never made it in, but now it's available as a free pattern!

the wakefield scarf is a diagonal lace scarf knit with 3 skeins of the very lovely yarn mirasol tupa.. the lace pattern can easily be adapted to knit a wrap instead of a scarf (don't forget to purchase double the yardage though).

so, go check out the pattern here.

or queue it on ravelry here.

Love this scarf and the color!

I love the color of this scarf and I got the pattern in the Interweave Knits email today!

i'm not sure why, but your images are broken when i look at the blog through google reader. just a heads up! they work fine when i click-on to the actual blog, though.

This looks like a really fun scarf - looking forward to knitting it!

What a gorgeous little scarf!! definitely adding it to my queue.

This is really cute and would adapt nicely to handspun yarn. Thanks!

Lovely scarf pattern... AND I actually have exactly 3 skeins of Mirasol Tupa in the stash from three years ago.... hmm.

Very cool scarf, added it to my queue!

That is pretty. I'd like to give it a try someday. I love that it could be a scarf or a shawl either would look lovely. Thanks!
