So sorry for your loss. Pets give love unconditionally. I loved my daughter's dog, Pixie, who was with us for 18 years. She was with us for 18 years. I cried so hard just as you are doing now. But it gets better as you remember your beloved pet with fondness.

oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. what a cutie! and it will take some time, but I promise you won't cry forever. we lost our sweet yellow lab two years ago, and I can finally think of him now fondly, with no tears!

Oh darling Melissa! I am so sorry—she looks like a sweetie. I lost my soul mate-kitty Mabel last year. I cried for months, but eventually the sadness softened...it will for you, too. Especially since it sounds like you have so many fun and happy memories. xoxo

Your Stella was a beautiful kittie. I'm sorry for your loss. You won't cry forever, but you will always have her in your heart. I had to say good-bye to my lovely Ida, my little sweetie for 17 years, in January. So I know how hard this is. Getting out all her pictures and putting a few in frames helped me a lot during the first couple of days, when the loss felt most painful.
Hugs to you!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my kitty of 18 years last September, and the following weeks were really hard. I'd find myself feeling fine, then suddenly doubled over sobbing. Our pets really are our best friends, and it's so hard to lose them. I promise you that it will get better; you'll eventually find yourself able to speak of her fondly without crying. I'm sending you hugs.

I too am so sorry to read of your loss, but true, you will not cry forever. The sadness will pass and only happy thoughts of your beautiful Stella will fill your heart. Wishing you peace.

Oh, I'm so sorry! In my experience, losing a pet is about as difficult as you get.
When I lost my dog a few years ago, I was certain that the hole he left in my heart would be there forever and that I would never stop crying. In time, that hole filled up with memories that made me smile but the scar is still there and it's definitely still tender. I think that's a testament to the fact that he was such a special dog.
It has been 3 years, and I still cry sometimes when I think about him. Our new dog has helped me turn a lot of that sadness into fond memories that pass across my mind like clouds in the sky. It took time, though.
Being crushed by a pet's death makes you the very best kind of person in the world, because it means your desire to connect with others transcends humanity. Stella was a lucky, lucky girl.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss! What a beautiful little kitty. I am sure she loved every minute of her time with you, as you did with her. I wish you peace.

I am sorry for the loss of your little treasure. While it is true this (pain) will not last forever it will not ease your need to cry. Just remember what a wonderful life you gave her and she you.

I'm so very sorry. We lost our fabulous, cantankerous old lady cat Sorcha 2 years ago. We still miss her terribly but the heart and mind have a way of healing so we now can remember her antics with smiles. I hope you can find peace in knowing you gave her the best life you could.

So very sorry for your loss...what a sweet looking girl she was. You won't cry forever, and the sadness will be replaced by sweet memories with time.

My heart goes out to you in this time of great sadness. In my experience the extreme grief does pass and the sweetness of the moments shared does return to the forefront in time.

You won't cry forever, but it's healthy to let yourself cry hard for a little while. I'm so sorry for your loss....

Oh no! I'm so, so sorry. It's an awful thing to go through. You won't cry like that forever, no; for a while every day and then some days and then not many days. If we didn't love them so, we wouldn't miss them so.

Sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your kitty. We got our Maeve when our daughter was 2. She died 16 years later a week after our daughter returned home from her first year of college. We cried so hard we even had my daughter's best friend crying and she's a dog lover! It will get easier. We still miss her terribly. My daughter has moved in to her own home and now has two kitties. Hang in there. Your Stella will always be in your heart!

I promise you wont cry for forever. I lost my kitty love this summer and I haven't been able to blog about it yet. I can, however look back with fond memories of the cat I had growing up. It does get better with time... sometimes that time is just a long time.

I'm so sorry. This kind of loss is crushing. I am sure she was as happy as she could possibly be with you.

Oh, Melissa, I'm so sorry! We cried so much when Darcy died. It will pass, but oh, it is so hard in the meantime. Big hugs and a sloppy Lucy kiss...

I am so very sorry. We've had our kitten only one year and would be devastated to lose him. I hope the pain fades and you can remember the happy memories.

So sorry about your loss... She was one lucky cat to have lived with such loving family :)

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. You won't cry forever, but there will be a hole in your heart for quite a while. I lost my sweet Sadie 6 years ago on March 29th, and although there are 2 new kitties in my life that I love so much, she was my best friend for so long. There will be other lovey kitties in your life I'm sure, and each one will be special.

I'm sorry for your loss of such a cute kitty. Eventually the sadness will not be so overwhelming and you can remember her with love and laughter and not so many tears.

I'm so sorry about Stella. I lost my June six months ago, and her brother a year before that, and the grief can still take me by surprise and leave me a gasping, crying mess. I've accepted that there will always be a little hole in my heart where they lived for so long. It has become more bearable with time, but it will never go away entirely. Non-"animal people" do not understand this. Don't expect them to.

So sorry. It's hard to lose a beloved pet. It will get better. Just takes some time and tears.

You will not cry forever, it's a hard time and you will need some time. I lost my lovely cat earlier this year and now I can remember all the good moments without crying (allways), but there is a feeling of missing someone very special.
Best wishes Kath
